This drives me to help executives dig deep to uncover their authentic voices and communicate empathetically while credibly representing their organisations.
Crafting purposeful narratives that spark epiphanies, build trust and propel action has been my mission for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in an era defined by television as the go-to babysitter, I saw how well-produced media content could engage and entertain. It brought me joy while helping me make sense of the world and gain new perspectives. Wanting to make a similar impact on others, I dedicated almost 20 years of my career to connecting with mass audiences as a multi-platform (radio, television, online) journalist in Singapore, winning numerous awards before moving on to helping others connect with their stakeholders.
Having conducted incisive interviews with prominent leaders as well as ordinary people with extraordinary stories, and produced content for various audiences, I know what works and am able to implement impactful communication strategies for any context. My journalistic acumen also allows me to rapidly crystallise key messages and present them in ways that resonate with my clients' stakeholders.
I've directed communication in diverse industries including funeral services and executive recruitment on a regional scale. In each instance, I helped leadership teams develop potent blueprints and deliver strategic messages with confidence, conviction and clarity to meaningfully connect with their audiences.
Today, as an independent strategist, consultant and coach, I work with executives at various levels to shape and express compelling narratives that drive organisational purpose, goals and results.
I don’t believe in templates. My toolkits are carefully tailored and highly individualised. I see myself as a guide taking you on a journey. I meet you where you are with the aim of arriving at our destination together, having progressed beyond the tangible. I apply this philosophy to shaping your interactions with your stakeholders as well, ensuring that through effective communication, you become an invaluable guide who helps them navigate the world.
Effectual communication is transformative. It imbues people with a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. Facilitating such experiences for my clients fuels my own sense of accomplishment.
